Featured Merchant: Falling Whistles

Falling Whistles is a campaign for peace in The Democratic Republic of the Congo. They sell whistles as symbols of protest, after the founders learned that child soldiers were being sent to the front lines of war in the Congo with only a whistle. Falling Whistles asks people to be a whistleblower for peace, and is building a coalition to end the world’s deadliest war. They invest in Congolese visionaries, help with the rehabilitation of those affected by war and work domestically to raise awareness around the ongoing devastation in the Congo.

They are currently working with 14 other organizations to stop the deadly M23 insurgency there, and have called upon President Obama to appoint a Presidential Envoy to assist in the region. We admire and support their work, and are grateful to be working with them.
